How to prepare 68° Chicken for consumption
General Guidelines
Always thaw the chicken in the chiller 24 hours before heating for best results.
You can place the chicken directly from the freezer into the chiller one day before consumption.
Make sure to drain the excess sauce before cooking to avoid flakiness in the chicken.
Note: The following instructions are for 250g of chicken. For smaller or larger quantities, please adjust according. 68° Chicken comes in a resealable bag you can use to store unused chicken.

Microwave
METHOD 1:
1. Cut open the transparent plastic packaging, drain the excess sauce, remove the thawed chicken, and place on a clean plate.
NOTE: Plastic packaging is NOT microwave safe
2. Set the microwave to 450W and 4minutes 30 seconds.
3. Cover the chicken with a microwave lid and place it into the microwave. Start the microwave.
4. Once the time is up, the chicken is ready for consumption.
METHOD 2:
Alternatively, if your chicken is not thawed, you can simply microwave from frozen at 600W, 4minutes and 30 seconds.
METHOD 3:
You can also adjust the wattage and timer depending on your personal preferences. Eg. 900W for 3 to 4 minutes
Pan Fry
1. Heat up the frying pan (medium fire) and spray a thin layer of oil on top.
2. Remove the thawed chicken from the packaging and place it onto the heated pan.
3. Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side.
4. Place the cooked chicken on a clean plate and it is ready for consumption
Note: Make sure to drain the excess sauce before cooking to avoid flakiness in the chicken.
Pan Fry
1. Thaw chicken in chiller 12 hours before cooking.
2. Remove chicken from plastic packaging when it is completely thawed.
3. Place chicken skin-side down on cool pan.
4. Turn on fire to low medium heat, to render the fat out, leave the chicken undisturbed for 5 to 7 minutes.
5. Flip the chicken to cook the other side.
6. Make sure the internal of the chicken is around 75 degrees, or when the juices from the chicken comes out clear when poked with a fork.
Air Fry
1. Thaw chicken in chiller 12 hours before cooking.
2. Remove chicken from plastic packaging when it is completely thawed.
3. Heat up air fryer to 160 degrees Celsius.
4. Place chicken skin-side up facing the heating element of the air fryer and air fry for 8 minutes.
5. Flip the chicken and air fry for another 8 minutes.
6. Make sure the internal of the chicken is around 75 degrees, or when the juices from the chicken comes out clear when poked with a fork.
Microwave

2. Set the microwave to 450W and 4 minutes.
3. Cover the dish with a microwave lid and place it into the microwave. Start the microwave.
4. Once the time is up, the prawn/shrimp is ready for consumption.
